quiet before the storm

sorry for the lull here.
the weather has been too nice ,
work too busy and i have been on a reading and movie watching tear.

this weekend i watched empire of the sun and before the devil knows you're dead.
empire was just ok,
christain bale's first movie, john malkovich and ben stiller were also in it.
before the devil knows you're dead was pretty good, a crime drama.
good twists.
philip seymour hoffman, ethan hawke, marisa tomei and marisa tomei's boobs are in the movie.
...and last night we finished up hbo's rome series.
pretty good stuff.

last week i read dick proenneke's journel, made into the book one man's wilderness: an alaskan odyssey.
flipping awesome.

i am currently reading the forever war.
